The UC Agriculture and Natural Resources community stretches across the state of California and includes a network of local Cooperative Extension sites, thirteen statewide programs and institutes, and nine research and extension centers. By working and living among those we serve, ANR expands UC’s reach to engage all people and communities in California, ensuring access to the UC system including those who may never set foot on a UC campus. Our innovative science-based solutions impact the people of California through applied research and education supporting sustainable, safe, and nutritious food production and delivery; economic success in a global economy; a sustainable, healthy, and productive environment; and science literacy and youth development programs.
